Manage Profile & Preferences

This guide explains how to manage your user profile and notification preferences in Operator.

Keeping your profile information up to date helps ensure clear communication with your team and customers. Adjusting notification preferences allows you to stay informed while minimizing unnecessary interruptions.


Managing Your Profile Information

Your profile contains key contact and professional details, including your name, role, title, phone number, and profile picture. This information is visible to other team members and is used across Operator.

You can update your profile in two ways:

  • Through the Profile Menu

  • Through the People section


Method 1: Update via the Profile Menu

  1. Open your Profile Menu
    Click your profile icon in the upper-right corner of Operator

  2. Select Edit
    In the side panel, click Edit to open your profile details

  3. Update your information

    • Name, Role, and Title: Edit as needed

    • Phone Number: Enter your current contact number

    • Profile Picture: Click Upload a profile picture to add or replace your photo

  4. Save your changes
    Click Save Changes to apply updates


Method 2: Update via the People Section

  1. Navigate to People
    From the left-hand navigation, select Team

  2. Locate your profile

    • Click the ellipsis () next to your name and select Edit, or

    • Click your name to open your profile, then click Edit on the right-hand side

  3. Update your information

    • Role and Title

    • Phone Number

    • Email Address

    • Profile Picture

  4. Save your changes
    Click Save Changes when finished


Configuring Notification Preferences

Operator allows you to control how and when you receive notifications for messages, reports, and mobile alerts.

Customizing these settings helps you stay informed across desktop and mobile without added noise.


Update Notification Settings

  1. Open your Profile Menu
    Click your profile icon in the upper-right corner.

  2. Open Settings
    In the side panel, click Manage Settings.

  3. Configure Notifications:
    Use the toggles to control:

    • Unread Messages – Receive email alerts for new, unread messages

    • Weekly Reporting Digest – Receive a weekly summary of platform activity

    • Push Notifications – Enable or disable mobile push notifications (if using the mobile app)

  4. Confirm your preferences
    Changes are saved automatically as you toggle settings on or off. You can update these preferences at any time.

Note

Even if email and push notifications are turned off, all alerts remain visible in your Operator notification center.
