Plans Overview

The Plans section is the master library for all floor plans and home models in Operator.

Plans store shared details and media that are reused when creating properties, helping ensure consistency and accuracy across your portfolio.

Plans are managed in Advanced and can be associated with one or more communities.


Create a New Plan

Plan details control the default information used when creating new properties.

  1. Open Advanced
    From the main navigation, select Advanced.

  2. Click Add New
    Click Add New to create a new plan

  3. Input Required Plan Details
    Fill out plan details such as Name, Sq Ft, Bedrooms, Bathrooms, and Garage

  4. Create Plan
    Click Create


Edit Plan

  1. Open Advanced
    From the main navigation, select Advanced.

  2. Open Plans
    Select Plans to view the full plan library.

  3. Select a plan
    Click the plan you want to edit.

  4. Edit
    Click Edit.

  5. Update plan details

    • Plan Name

    • Description

    • Statistics (square footage, bedrooms, bathrooms, garage)

  6. Save changes
    Click Save Changes.

All future properties created with this plan will reflect the updated information.


Add Media to a Plan

Media added to a plan becomes the default gallery for all properties created with that plan.

  1. Select a plan
    Navigate to Advanced β†’ Plans and open the plan.

  2. Open Media
    Locate the media section on the plan details page.

  3. Add media

    • Click Add Photos and Videos

    • Drag and drop files, or

    • Browse your device to select files

  4. Confirm upload
    Complete the upload.

How plan media works

  • Plan media is automatically copied to new properties created with that plan

  • Property-level media can be added later for lot- or home-specific photos

  • Updating plan media does not remove existing media from properties already created


Add plans from a community

Plans must be associated with a community before they can be selected when creating properties.

  1. Open Communities
    Go to Advanced β†’ Communities.

  2. Select a community
    Click the community you want to update.

  3. Manage plans
    In the Setup section, locate Plans.

  4. Add plans

    • Click Add Plan

    • Search for existing plans or create a new one

    • Select the plans to make available in this community

  5. Save changes
    Click Save Changes.

Only the selected plans will be available when creating properties in this community.


Add a community from a plan (alternative)

You can also associate plans with communities from the plan itself.

  1. Open Plans
    Navigate to Advanced β†’ Plans.

  2. Select a plan
    Open the plan you want to update.

  3. Edit communities
    In the Communities section, click Edit.

  4. Select communities
    Choose one or more communities from the list.

  5. Save changes
    Click Save Changes.

This method is useful when assigning a single plan to multiple communities.

  • Plan changes affect future properties, not existing ones
