How to Add Contacts

Steps to Add Contacts (team members, buyers, and external)

The People tab is the centralized directory for everyone involved in your transactions. This includes internal team members, buyers, and external professional contacts.

Keeping contact information accurate ensures communication stays clear and transactions stay organized.


Contact Types

Operator organizes people into three categories:

  • Team
    Internal users who work in Operator (sales, construction, closing, etc.).

  • Buyers
    Prospective or current homeowners associated with a property.

  • Contacts
    External professionals such as lenders, real estate agents, attorneys, or insurance providers.

Each person appears once in the global directory and can be associated with one or more properties.


Add a New Contact

You can add team members, buyers, and contacts from the People tab.

  1. Open People
    From the main navigation, select People.

  2. Choose a category
    Select Team, Buyers, or Contacts.

  3. Add a new record
    Click Add new

  4. Enter contact details
    Complete the required fields based on the contact type

  5. Save Contact
    Click Add new

The contact is added to your global directory and can be linked to properties and transactions.
