Understand the Buyer Portal

The buyer portal is what the buyer sees when visiting the web app and how they interact with your app

This outlines the steps to access and utilize the buyer portal in Operator to enhance communication and support for home buyers.

Access the Buyer Portal

  1. Navigate to any property page within Operator.

  2. Click on the View Buyer Portal link located on the right side of your screen.

Confirm you are in the buyer's view by checking for the green bar across the top of the screen.


Explore the Buyer Portal Features

  1. Review the interactive media gallery for photos of the home.

  2. Check the real-time feed of updates shared with the buyer.

  3. Use the messages feature to communicate with buyers, similar to sending a text message.

  4. Review the construction milestones timeline to educate buyers on the process and reduce questions.

  5. Check the action items list for key tasks and deadlines, which includes automated reminders.

  6. Navigate to the documents section for 24/7 access to important files organized in folders.

  7. Ensure that all updates, information, and documents are visible to the buyers.

  8. Once finished, close the buyer portal tab to return to your Operator environment.
