Assigning someone to a Service Request lets your team know who is responsible for managing it. It also makes it easier to filter and track the requests you're actively working on.
Steps
Open the Service Request
From the Service Requests tab, click the request you want to assign to yourself or a team member.
Find the Assignee field
In the Service Request right panel, locate the Assigned field.
Assign yourself
Click the field and select a name from the dropdown.
The Service Request is now assigned and will appear when filtering by that name.
Key Notes
You can reassign a Service Request to another team member at any time by updating the Assignee field.
Filtering by assignee is a quick way to see all requests currently on your plate.
