How To Edit or Reschedule a Warranty Event

Steps to update the details or date of an existing warranty event


If a warranty event needs to be changed β€” whether the date, time, or other details β€” you can update it directly from the schedule or the original Service Request.

Steps

  1. Locate the event

    Navigate to Schedule and find the event on the calendar, or open the original Service Request the event is linked to.

  2. Open the event

    Click on the event to open its details.

  3. Edit the details

    Click Edit and update the relevant fields:

    • Name

    • Date and time

    • Description

  4. Save

    Click Save to confirm the changes.

The event is updated on your calendar, and the homeowner is notified of the change.


Key Notes

  • Homeowners are notified automatically when an event is rescheduled. Avoid making changes at the last minute where possible.

  • If an event needs to be cancelled rather than rescheduled, delete it and communicate directly with the homeowner.
