The Homes tab is the central workspace for managing your property portfolio in Operator.

The Homes tab is the central workspace for managing your property portfolio in Operator. It provides a clear, real-time overview of every property, organized by its stage in the sales cycle.

This view helps teams stay aligned, manage transactions, and maintain a clear record from contract through ownership.


Property Stages

Homes are automatically organized into three stages to support pipeline visibility and day-to-day management.

Pre-Contract

This tab displays available inventory that does not yet have an executed contract.

Under Contract

Once a contract is executed, the home moves to Under Contract.This is the primary workspace for managing the active buyer journey, including:

  • Construction milestones

  • Buyer tasks and events

  • Communication through closing

Closed

After closing, homes transition to Closed.This tab serves as a long-term record and is the entry point for managing the post-close ownership experience, including warranty and homeowner engagement.


Property Sections

Selecting a home opens its detailed property view. Each section supports a specific part of the transaction and buyer experience.

Overview

A summary of the home’s current status, recent activity, and key details.

Action Items

Manage templated task lists that guide buyers through required tasks and events, such as design milestones or site visits.

Construction

Track and update construction milestones to give teams and buyers visibility into build progress.

Documents

Upload, store, and share documents such as contracts, plans, and HOA materials with buyers and internal teams.

Updates

Post photos, videos, and notes to proactively communicate progress. Updates are shared with the buyer and visible internally.

Messages

A dedicated inbox for all communication related to the home, keeping conversations organized and tied to the property.

Gallery

A collection of all media associated with the home, including photos and videos, accessible to both your team and the buyer.


People

Manage everyone connected to the home.

Buyers

  • View buyer contact information

  • Send invitations to the App and Buyer Portal

  • Manage buyer access

Team

Assign internal team members and external professional contacts to the home so buyers have a clear directory of who is involved.


Property & Transaction Details

Access key information related to the home and the contract.

Property

View and edit physical details such as address, plan, square footage, and other attributes.

Transaction

View contract-related information, including pricing, execution date, and other transaction details.


Ownership Experience

After closing, Operator supports ongoing homeowner engagement.

Home Products

View and manage product-specific information tied to the home, including warranty details and other post-close services.
