The Plans section of OPERATOR serves as your master library for all floor plans and home models. By maintaining a well-organized and detailed collection of plans, you streamline the property creation process, ensure consistency across your portfolio, and provide buyers with rich, accurate information from the start.
Edit Plan Details
Keeping your plan details up-to-date is crucial for accurate property listings and a professional presentation. This section allows you to modify the core attributes of any floor plan.
To edit plan details:
Navigate to the Advanced Tab: From the main menu, select Advanced.
Select Plans: Click on Plans to view your complete library of floor plans.
Choose a Plan: Locate the plan you wish to modify and click on it to open its details page.
Click Edit: Find and click the Edit button to make changes.
Update Key Fields: You can modify essential information, including:
Plan Name: The official name of the floor plan.
Description: A brief overview of the plan's features.
Statistics: Key figures such as square footage, bedroom/bathroom counts, and garage capacity.
Save Changes: Click Save Changes to apply your updates. All future properties created with this plan will reflect the new information.
Add Media
A high-quality media gallery makes your plans more compelling and provides buyers with a clear vision of their future home. Media added to a plan serves as a default gallery for every property created with that plan.
To add media to a plan:
Select a Plan: Navigate to the desired plan from the Advanced > Plans section.
Access the Media Section: On the plan's detail page, locate the media management area.
Upload Files: Click the option to add media (e.g., "Add Photos and Videos"). You can drag and drop files or browse your device to select images, renderings, and virtual tours.
Confirm Upload: Finalize the upload. The new media will now be part of the plan's gallery.
How Plan Media Works: When you create a new property and assign it this plan, the entire media gallery from the plan is automatically attached to that property. This boosts efficiency by pre-populating property listings with a professional set of visuals, which you can later supplement with lot-specific photos.
Add Plans to Community
Associating plans with specific communities is a critical step that ensures only relevant floor plans are available when your team creates a new property. This simple action prevents errors and standardizes your offerings for each development.
To add plans to a community:
Navigate to Communities: Go to the Advanced tab and select Communities.
Select a Community: Click on the community you wish to manage.
Access Plan Management: In the community's details page, find the section for "Plans" under the Setup section.
Add Plans:
Click the Add plan button.
You can search for an existing plan or create one.
Select the plans you want to make available for sale within this specific community.
Save Changes: Click Save. Now, when creating a new property in this community, your team will only be able to select from the approved list of plans, ensuring a streamlined and error-free process.
To alternatively add a plan to a community, proceed to the "Advanced" tab and select "Plan." From this interface, navigate to the "Communities" section, click "Edit," and then select the appropriate communities from the dropdown menu. This feature provides the capability to associate a single plan with multiple communities.
